LPG acquires Gothenburg ticket
Leisure Pass Group (LPG), the world's largest multi-attraction pass business, has acquired the Gothenburg Pass from long-time strategic partner Stromma. In combination with the latest Stockholm Pass acquisition, the addition of Gothenburg will see Sweden occupy a front row seat for the Go City brand.
The Gothenburg Pass grants visitors free entry to more than 30 attractions, museums and tours, and the inclusion of OFF OFF hop-on, hop-on bus and boat services makes it easy for visitors to go at their own pace, exploring dozens of attractions across the city. City. The pass saves you over 50% on entrance fees and best of all, it gives you the opportunity to visit some of the lesser-known spots and attractions you might never have considered.
While LPG has managed back office pass validation, e-commerce and online marketing services on behalf of the Swedish brand since 2016, the move will see GLP own the Gothenburg Pass, along with the Stockholm Pass, in its entirety.
GLP operates in more than 35 cities across five continents. More than three million tourists rely on the convenient and flexible digital passes to make 16 million attraction visits each year.
'It is a great thrill to add the Gothenburg Pass to our global portfolio of destinations. We are very proud to represent such a wide range of cities, and Gothenburg is a very special addition for us - it has that "off the beaten path" appeal that resonates well with customers who are venturing into a pandemic-world outpost for the first time. . We are excited to partner with the local community to help rebuild the business, but just as importantly, we hope that adding Stockholm and Gothenburg to the Go City family will help in the recovery of tourism across Sweden. We will work hand in hand with our Stromma partners to ensure the pass is digitally enabled and fit for the future', says Carrie Tayloe, COO of Leisure Pass Group.
Fredrik Duveskog, Business Director Stromma Gothenburg, adds: 'We are delighted that the Gothenburg Pass has the right conditions to develop even stronger, and the upcoming product development for the Go City mobile app will be a strong and attractive tourism product, which will benefit Gothenburg as a destination. We hope to continue to be part of the card. Leisure Pass Group and Stromma will work closely together in the future as well.
LPG and Stromma will continue to work in partnership to provide power to other cities under the Stromma umbrella, including Helsinki and Amsterdam, without interruption to current service.
