A mandatory declaration piece. Bag brand KARA recently brought back its popular Bike Wallet in April, and now a new iteration of the piece has arrived. Coming in a black and gold colorway, the new wallet is a crowd favourite. Made of black smooth grain leather, the wallet has a zipper closure. What makes the mini bag a standout piece is a thick, detachable shoulder strap. Inside, the bag is designed with internal slots for coins and cards. The new piece update features gold zippered hardware, chain and embossed KARA branding, and the item is available exclusively on the LN-CC online store.

For the product launch, KARA and LN-CC worked with Dutch science fiction artist Esmay Wagemans on an art exhibition to showcase the bag. If you grew up in the '90s, a favorite part of summer was undoubtedly the sprawling towels and t-shirts you soaked in a sink full of water. Starting with a small piece of compressed fabric resembling a rock, young eyes watched in amazement as the small package gradually expanded into a small item emblazoned with their favorite cartoon. Bringing back that unfiltered nostalgia, New York-based brand KARA recently shared a prototype of an expanding terry fabric version of their popular Baby Tote bag.

Starting with a compacted bag the size of a hockey puck, the accessory eventually morphs into the bag's unmistakable shape as it absorbs water. The entire submersion process takes about 30 seconds in total. While the bag has been described as a prototype and is shared on founder Sarah Law's personal Instagram page rather than the brand's official page, we expect these sentimental bags to see a wider rollout soon.
