Casetify's slogan is Real Cute, Real Tough. I find it quite apt. This is an absolutely adorable line of cases, yet it doesn't skimp on protection. It's available for every iPhone from the 7 onward and you can choose from endless colorful patterns, or design your own.

Stick with a basic clear case and choose from Frost, Black, or Baby Pink around edges, or choose from Casetify's many, many beautiful patterns. Don't let the cute looks fool you, though. This is a serious case designed for protection. The edges have ridges that give you a more secure grip on your phone to hopefully prevent drops from happening. However, if you do drop your phone, you've got military grade protection. Casetify's Impact Cases are constructed with two-layer qitech™ material, and are drop tested up to 6.6 ft.

Despite this protection, the case is still pretty slim. All of the buttons are covered but fully operational. All ports, switches, speakers, and cameras are unobstructed. Wireless charging still works. The lip of the case comes up well over the iPhone screen, so if you set your phone down screen first, it won't come into contact with the surface. I didn't find it difficult to put on and remove from the phone either, as some heavy-duty cases are.

CASETiFY offers a wide variety of cute cases in a range of styles, so you can choose a minimalist case or a more heavy-duty case. The new Ultra Impact Case is the most protective case they've offered yet. It's a step beyond the Impact Case with the addition of the trademarked QiTech material adorning each corner. It's only available for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. You can choose from a nice selection of signature prints, or you can customize your case to your liking.

Though the bumper of this case is thicker and stiffer than many others, the case isn't too hard to put on and take off (though Siri usually pops on when I do so.) The button covers over the Sleep/Wake and volume buttons work great. The cutout for the mute switch is fairly deep because of the thicker bumper, but I had no trouble operating the switch. Cutouts at the bottom free up the Lightning port and speakers. The edge of the case does come up higher than the screen so when you place your iPhone face down, the screen won't contact your desk. There's no textured grip on the bumper but it's not overly slippery, either. The back of the case is thicker than the camera lenses, so placing your iPhone face up won't let the camera hit your desk either. My iPhone works perfectly fine within the case, including wireless charging.

The CASETiFY Ultra Impact Case is a heavy-duty case. It's not the heaviest case I've seen, it is more on the slim side, but it does offer 9.8-foot drop protection. The reinforced QiTech corners protect the most vulnerable points without having to be thick all over. Like the other CASETiFY cases, this one has a black ring around the camera module that says CASETiFY in white, twice. There's also writing in small print on the inside of the bumpers, which is only visible from the outside (backwards) if you have the clear bumper and you're looking closely.

There's a new phone sanitizer in town: Meet Casetify

PhoneSoap may be all the rage these days, but there's a new UV sanitizer in town: Casetify. It's up for order now at $120, and orders are supposed to ship by the fourth week of April.

Not only does it give you another option for a UV sanitizer, but 100% of proceeds from sales of the device are being donated to GlobalGiving's Coronavirus Relief Fund. The money raised will be used to get supplies to first responders and hospitals, along with communities in need. So your purchase helps in the fight to control the new coronavirus.

Like other sanitizers on the market, Casetify uses UV light. Rather than long bulbs like we've seen in the PhoneSoap, this uses six small, square LEDs. Two lights sit on the inside of the lid, along with two along each side. These are UV-C LEDs, which means there's no mercury, unlike traditional bulbs. When in use, these produce a glowing blue UV light that hits the sides and front of your phone. To clean the back, you'll need to flip the phone over.

Your phone doesn't need to just sit there losing juice while it's being cleaned, either. There's a Qi-wireless charger built into the rubber bed inside the sanitizing case. This not only holds your device snugly, but it will charge it wirelessly with up to 5 watts. Unlike PhoneSoap, though, which has extra USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports on its products, Casetify does not. There's just a USB Type-C port on the left side, and that's for powering the UV sanitizer itself.

When closed, the top lid has a tiny blue LED indicator for wireless charging, a circular button with a ring of LEDs around it for monitoring sanitization, and a Casetify logo. To start wireless charging, you'll click in the circle button once. (You can turn it off with a double click.) Drop your phone in and you'll see it start to charge wirelessly. Close the lid, and you'll notice the blue ring around the button will start slowly pulsing.

It automatically starts the cleaning process, which lasts for about three minutes. Once done, you won't really see the results, and you may still see fingerprints on the device. You might notice a slight odor coming from it - not burning, but you can tell that the lights had an effect.

You can clean more than your phone as well. We tried AirPods (both in and out of the case), Powerbeats, Powerbeats Pro, Galaxy Buds+ and even car keys. When inserting items that aren't supposed to take a charge, just remember to turn off the wireless charger with a double-tap of the circle button on the front.

At $120, Casetify's UV sanitizer is more expensive than a wipe or most cleaning solutions, but it's in line with other UV sanitizers. At the end of the day, it may provide some peace of mind.
