Items sold by Marketplace sellers cannot be returned to any Hudson Bay store. All Marketplace returns must be initiated through your Hudson's Bay account and sent directly to the Marketplace seller.

Extended Holiday Return Policy
We've extended our return and exchange policy for items sold and shipped by The Bay, made between October 15, 2021 and December 15, 2021. This means you now have until January 15, 2022 (or for Hudson's Bay Mastercard holders , up to 90 days * or whichever comes later) to make a return or exchange **. Purchases made on or after December 16, 2021 will follow our standard return policy.

Items sold by Hudson's Bay* are eligible for FREE RETURNS online and in store.
* Items sold by Marketplace sellers are subject to their own shipping and returns policies and are not eligible for Hudson Bay shipping and return promotions.
Effective May 4, 2021, customers who return items purchased with a Hudson's Bay credit card or Hudson's Bay Mastercard issued by Capital One will be refunded to a Hudson's Bay Gift Card.
Please note that our locations in Winnipeg Downtown, Edmonton City Center and Dorval (Les Jardins) are no longer accepting returns and/or exchanges.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it in its original packaging at any Hudson Bay store open for in-store purchases or send it back to our warehouse with the original receipt. Refunds and exchanges are not allowed after the allowed return period or without an original receipt. Accepted forms of an original receipt include store-obtained receipts, online delivery notes / order invoice, and transactional emails.

14 day policy
Select large items available for purchase on thebay.com that are not eligible for home delivery, including select furniture, mattresses, appliances, barbecue grills, selected garden furniture, selected exercise equipment and outdoor games, can be returned at * 14 days for a refund given to the initial proposal.
